Unique Vintage Antique Silver Plate Heavily Embossed Small Bon BonDish W/Handle

Description

This is a very unusual little silver plate basket with handle.
I think that it looks Victorian but I am not sure at all.
It is heavily embossed.
The bottom of the inside is embossed as well. It is a flower motif with a scroll at bottom.
The handle is very unique as it is twisted with 3 small silver plate balls on each side.
The sides are a star & circle motif.
The hallmark is on the bottom as indicated in photo #9. It looks like MB&CO 77 USA but I am not positive. I don’t know what the 77 means. 1877? 1977?
