    Description

    This shark egg Palaeoxyris was found in the carboniferous layers (Westfal D - "Flöz 3 Bänke") of Piesberg near Osnabrück in Germany.
    The stone was broken and have been glued, no further manipulations. It measures about 9 x 7 x 2 cm. Further parts of the egg could be uncovered.There are some plant fossils as well on front- and backside.
