    Description

    Papakha — man, fur (lambskin or Karakul) hat, common among many Nations and peoples in the world, element of military uniforms.
    In the Russian army, the prototype of the papakha was a fur hat, which since 1817 was worn by soldiers of some units in the Caucasus and Central Asia. However officially as a winter headdress and that only in the Cossack armies, the hat was established only in 1855.
