    ABOUT THE SELLER
Hello, I?m Darren and I was born in 1982. I love the sport of ATV racing and have been riding for as long as I can remember. I started racing in 2014, in the Mideast Hare Scramble series. Around the same time I started racing, my body had rejected my kidney (that was donated to me from my brother in 2007) which caused me to go into kidney failure. I had to go back on dialysis (which I do myself, 4 times per day, every day). As shown in the picture, you can see the catheter in my stomach. That is what I use to do my dialysis.
Racing saved my life. After my first race, I realized that if I could do what I just did by finishing the race, then I could face dialysis again. Racing has helped keep me healthy and motivated to stay as healthy as I can. Through my racing, I have been able to help inspire others that are facing chronic illness.  I try to show them that life will still go on ? it will just be different. I plan to continue to race up until the time I find a transplant, and after, when the recovery process has completed.
Shortly after I started racing, I started a cause called ?Racing For Awareness?. I try to use racing and my kidney failure journey to help educate people about the disease and about kidney donation. I also use it to help motivate and inspire others to believe in themselves and to never give up.
Due to kidney failure, I had to find a different source of income. I used to build houses and renovations. That?s how I got started on small crafts like bird houses, feeders, and carpenter bee traps.
